Túl a sövényen: konferencia és designpiknik a MOME-n
Piknikkel egybekötött konferenciát tart a MOME (Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem) Design Intézete a formatervezés és design oktatásának kommunikációjáról és a piaci szerepvállalásról 2011. április 21-én, 11.30 és 16 óra között.
Mi vár a hallgatókra diploma után, ha elhagyják a zugligeti kampuszt? Hogyan segítheti az egyetem a fiatal pályakezdők munkába állását és szakmai integrációját? Hogyan ösztönözhető az innováció és hogyan válik hasznosíthatóvá annak eredménye? Miként létesíthető párbeszéd az egyetem a gazdaság, a kultúra és a társadalom résztvevői között. Többek között ezekre a kérdésekre keressük a választ a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem design és formatervezés oktatásának kommunikációjáról szóló konferenciáján. (more…)
Design és innováció konferencia, Kecskemét, 2011. március 31.
2011. március 31-én ismét megrendezi a Kecskemét és Térsége Többcélú Társulás a Design és Innováció Konferenciát. Ez egyfajta kapunyitás, elsősorban a napjainkban kialakuló új üzleti lehetőségekre, dinamikus, nagy hozzáadott értékű piacokra. A cél a magas színvonalú, hiteles tájékoztatás és a motiválás, valamint a stratégiai lépések megalapozása a hazai vállalkozásoknál.
Az elmúlt években a design jelentős mértékben előtérbe került, és erről ma már mint nemzetközi trendről beszélhetünk. Itthon is felnőtt egy generáció, akinek igényszintje egyre inkább nő ezen a téren. A funkcionalitás mellett egyre többet várunk el azoktól a termékektől, amikkel kapcsolatba kerülünk és amiket használunk. A design mára a versenyképesség elengedhetetlen elemévé vált. Bár Európa egyre kisebb területen globális vezető, a design területén azonban jelentős kulturális tartalékkal rendelkezik. Ezt kívánja bemutatni a konferencia az előadások és workshopok során. Szerkezet és felület – KÉK szimpózium a látszóbetonról
Cement, homok, kavics, sóder, víz és különféle adalékszerek. Lényegében ez a beton, de mint ahogyan az építészet sem csupán alapok, falak és tetőzet, így ez a régi és mégis nagyon sok új lehetőséget rejtő anyag is jóval több, mint a felsorolt összetevők elegye. És az architektúra sem csak a gyakorló építészek és építészhallgatók, mérnökök és kivitelezők, illetve a szakmához kapcsolódó teoretikusok ügye, hanem mindenkié. Ez utóbbit hirdetni és ápolni jött létre a Kortárs Építészeti Központ (KÉK), az előbbire pedig február 25-26-án szimpóziumot szerveztek. Melyre a Hellodesign is ellátogatott. (more…)
ICSID World Design Congress Singapore 2009

ICSID ülés és szakmai nap Budapesten
Az Ipari Formatervezési Társaságok Nemzetközi Szövetsége (ICSID) Budapesten tartja következő ülését 2009. május 15. és 17. között. A Magyar Formatervezési Tanács és a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem ehhez kapcsolódó nyilvános szakmai napot tart „Mennyit ér a design?” címmel. (more…)

Belgrade Design Week 09 speaker: Tony Chambers from Wallpaper*
During the second day of Belgrade Design Week, on May 29th, one of the speakers within Speed 4 Media category will be Tony Chambers, editor in chief of Wallpaper*. Tony has become Wallpaper’s editor in chief in March 2007. Before that, Tony has been working for Wallpaper as a creative director. Tony’s achievements at Wallpaper* include the introduction of a critically acclaimed new design direction; creating the brand identity of the ground-breaking Wallpaper* City Guides, published by Phaidon; and the design of 2006’s most collectable magazine of the year, Wallpaper’s 10th anniversary issue – a tour-de-force celebrating the most successful year in its history. CompostModern 09 conference
